Our juniors

program

The Research Lower Plenty Baseball Club offers girls and boys from age 5+ (and their parents) the opportunity to get involved in baseball at every level.

Every year, our goal is to:

Benefits for our families

Our greatest strength is the breadth and depth of our volunteers who coach, organise and administer our club. This is the heartbeat of our club, what makes the experience and the connection to our club possible.

Our junior philosophy

Our club spirit “The Research Way” emphasises respect for the game, supporting our teammates and playing the game the right way. We place a strong emphasis on all of these points as these principles apply both on and off the field. Whilst we are proud of our on-field achievements, we are most proud of the way our coaches approach the game and apply the Research Way.

If your child(ren) are looking for a place to feel welcome, build their confidence, and feel part of the team, then our club could be for you.

Our Coaches

  • Summer Juniors
  • Winter Juniors

The summer season is held from September to February. Training takes place midweek, and games take place Friday and/or Sunday mornings.

During summer, our club offers baseball experiences for all age groups. T-Ball Smash is an ideal introductory program for girls and boys aged 5-8. The very popular Friday Night Instructional League is offered to 9-12 year olds who are new to the game. Both these programs are run in-house, take place on the same night, and are a great way to get involved.

For players interested in participating in the League competition, our club field teams in the following Baseball Victoria age groups.
